The Drakesbrook vineyard was specifically selected for its pristine environment, elevation, ample water and well drained gravely soil.

This, together with the Mediterranean maritime climate tempered in the summer by sea breezes, produces distinctive, powerful wines of character with each wine and vintage as unique as the taster.

Our vineyard has a philosophy of biodynamic viticulture practice, utilizing minimal intervention aiming towards a carbon neutral status.

Our white wine label’s reflects the White-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus latirostris) which frequents the Drakesbrook Wines vineyard; while our red wine label’s symbolises the red-tailed black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii naso) which frequents the property.
